Lauren Oliver Delirium c. könyvét már 2009-ben megvették még csak most kérte be a FOX az első pilotot. Producere Karyn Usher (Dr. Csont, A szökés). A Hivatalos Magyar Mead rajongói csoport le is fordította Richelle Mead reakcióját a mozi hírre, melyben többek közt arról is van szó, hogy miért volt szükség címváltoztatásra. A filmet Mark Waters rendezi, a forgatókönyv író Dan Waters, Mark testvére. A forgatás a tervek szerint Európában valamikor nyáron kezdődik majd. A film a The Weinstein Company stúdióhoz került, ami azért is jó, mert szinte bankot robbantottak az Oscarra jelölt "Django Elszabadul” és “Silver Linings Playbook” filmjeikkel, így nem kell attól tartani, hogy kis költségvetésű lesz a film. Kitűzött megjelenés: 2014. Február 14.
